The lady behind the lens.Meet Rebekah...
A rare photo of me with my daughter.
I’m Rebekah, the owner & photographer of Rebekah’s Studio. I love being able to share beautiful moments of two individuals and feel blessed to get to work with such wonderful people each day!
Based in Honiton, Devon but working in all areas of the South West, I have been a professional photographer for over ten years now. It is crazy to think of where I got started and how far i’ve grown!
After passing my photography GCSE and A-Level courses in 2006, I then began commercial/studio photography. In 2011 I decided the commercial photography wasn’t for me so I started working along side wedding photographers to gain experience and to receive further training in wedding photography. I am a qualified photographer with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) and a qualified photographer with The Guild of Photographers.
In 2012 I finally felt I was ready to start my own business, run my own studio and I have never looked back, It has has been a long journey with lots of struggles and bumps along the way but I couldn’t be more thankful with where I am now with my business.

What does LSWPP mean? – Licentiate qualification from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
My Style and How I Work
Rebekah Thomas is a South West wedding photographer. Covering all areas in Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Cornwall.
Hiring a photographer who you like and feel comfortable with will make a huge difference, not only to your final images, but also to the enjoyment of your wedding day. With this in mind I always like to spend time with all my clients before their wedding day to create a great relationship. We can get together at my photography studio in Honiton or on location during a pre-wedding photography session. A relaxed Bride and Groom will always produce stunning photographs!
As someone who has already planned their own wedding, I know how important it is to have as much of the stress taken away from you, as possible. One of the biggest complements I have received from a Bride was “I didn’t even realise you were there” . This really typifies my approach to wedding photography.
My wedding photography style is documentary; I will take a step back and capture all those moments throughout your wedding day and all those details that make your wedding personal to you and your partner.
During your portraits and group photographs I will work closely with you, your partner and your guests by giving you all directions on how to pose naturally and relaxed to achieve the very best images. As we live in the UK, the weather can be unpredictable, in case of wet weather I come prepared with professional lighting equipment which can be used inside the venue to create beautiful images.
